The African Women Mentoring and Inspiring Initiative had a courtesy visit to the Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs, Rivers State Nigeria. It was a successful courtesy session with Dr Mrs Apawari Roseline Uranta. In that meeting it was discussed that women amwere an untapped raw material waiting to give her world her best of properly harnessed and together as women, we can build on our resources.
To ensure Rivers State, Nigeria, African region and the world at large benefits from our wealth of resources. We can achieve our objectives when we focus on empowering the intellectual, psychological, financial abilities of the woman.
Dr Apawari states that she was impressed with AWMII and looks forward to involvement in partnership with AWMII on women related activities.
